In Tamilnadu, there are three castes in Schedule Caste (Pallar, Paraiyar& Arunthathiyar). They are calling as a Dalit. Govt. reservation is 16%, but its reaching & selecting by first two castes ¬ by Arunthahtiyar, because arunthathiyar r not coming to the higher studies, even though they r not passing after secondary school, It is in the survey report.

Pallar – There is many politicians-Puthia Thamilagam
Parayar – Still many politicians – Viduthalai Chiruthaikal Katchi
But Arunthathiyar there is no one in politics
Among this three caste, first two caste people are creating untouchable among them Dalits. Even though, arunthathiyar are doing scavenging work, making seppals, street cleaners, sweepers as a begging range. But first two Dalit castes are in much govt post in current reports.
In recently one issue in Paramakkudi in Ramanathapuram district of Tamilnadu, fire accident death is more than three. But in this situation they are calling among other caste come and Join as a one group as a Dalit, we will fight against this is issue.

In kovil patti, subaramaniyapuram area an arunthathiyar (scavenging caste) girl aged 10 was raped by a non Arunthathiyar but dalit (pallar) community
